Michael Henoch joined the Chicago Symphony Orchestra in 1972 at the invitation of Sir George Solti. He has appeared regularly as a soloist with the orchestra and has been active in several chamber ensembles, most notably The Chicago Chamber Musicians, of which he served as Artistic Director for nine seasons. Henoch has performed at the Marlboro Festival and Lincoln Center's Mostly Mozart Festival. He is currently an Associate Professor of Music at Northwestern University. Henoch's recording of the Mozart Quartet for Oboe and Strings was nominated for a 2007 Grammy award.
